AUSTRALIAN GOLDEN OLIVE AWARDS
To celebrate the harvest, effort, work, commitment and achievement of Olive Producers all over Australia, Olive Producers North East Victoria (OPNEV) invites you to the annual Australian Golden Olive Awards Celebration Dinner and Presentation.
The dinner is held annually at the renowned The Pickled Sisters Cafe & Restaurant 121a Main St, Rutherglen, Victoria. With bubbles on arrival and a delicious 3 course dinner followed by tea and coffee. The sumptuous meal is prepared by Chef Stewart Gilchrist. Each course is inspired by and uses the ingredients; extra virgin olive oil and olives. The awarded extra virgin olive oils from the Australian Golden Olive Awards are key ingredients in each course.
There are trophies, medals and a minimum of formality. This evening is a great opportunity to network with other olive producers and people with a shared interest.
In 2025 the general public be able to purchase dinner tickets directly from The Pickled Sisters Cafe & Restaurant through their website. Olive Producers / OPNEV members will be able to book through this website.

Dinner is a set menu, please advise any special dietary requirements at time of booking and we will endeavor to accommodate you.
Bubbles on arrival, followed by a sumptuous 3 course dinner (with olives and extra virgin olive oils featuring) created by chef Stewart Gilchrist.
Accommodation venues are available in Main St, Rutherglen and only a few minutes walk from the dinner venue for those who do not wish to drive home after the event. Some accommodation options within a few minutes walk of the venue are:-Wine Village Motor Inn, Basq Stays, Tuileries at De Bortoli Rutherglen, Motel Woongarra, Poachers Paradise Hotel.
Note, Pickled Sisters Cafe & Restaurant are also open for breakfast from 10am on Saturdays.
There are different prices for OPNEV members and Non-members. Please choose the appropriate ticket. Current financial membership will be checked. Be sure to choose the appropriate type of ticket. OPNEV financial members receive a discounted pricing for dinner as this is subsidized by OPNEV. Non-members do not receive a subsidy.
Note: All purchases are checked against the member database so users who purchase a cheaper ticket will be sent an invoice with the difference to be paid.

OPNEV Members book through this OPNEV website to receive to subsidized member only Dinner Tickets. Bookings and full payment will need to be received no later than 1st August 2025 to secure your seating. We are expecting that this very popular dinner will be become fully booked and any unallocated seating will be offered to the general public that have been placed on the waiting list.
